One more week to METAL ALL STARS concert!
Posters are already handing in the downtown.
I am posting some photographs from yesterday’s (30.11.2013) Black Sabbath concert in Dortmund, Germany…
I have to say that there are a few things which I didn’t expect. Ozzy is much more energetic and speaks more clearly than I was expecting. It was my first concert in Germany and I noticed a few things. Germans don’t take photos at the concerts. There were only a few people taking photographs… but they do move a lot around… walk, drink… The concert was surprisingly long… 2 hours. T-shirts crazy expensive – 35 euro! (same cost on their website 19 euro) and… people were smoking weed non stop… I had no idea that even smoking cigarets was allowed…
“I have to sadly let you know that Motörhead has had to postpone the forthcoming European tour until early next year, 2014.
We have made the decision because I am not quite ready to hit the road yet, and am working my way back to full fitness and rude health. Don’t worry – I’m not about to start promoting veganism and alcohol-free beverages, but it is fair to say that I personally have been reconfiguring areas of my life to make sure I can come back fitter and stronger than ever.
It disappointed me tremendously to have to say I wasn’t quite ready to hit the road yet, but not nearly as much as it would’ve disappointed me to go out, play some average shows and watch my health give way long before the tour was over! When people come to see a Motörhead tour, they expect a Motörhead show, and that is exactly what you will get as soon as I am fit and ready to rumble.
Your patience and understanding is appreciated…and know that I’m getting stronger and stronger every day, so watch out next spring Europe and we will see you then.
Thank you all,
Our Wacken 25-th anniversary t-shirts (which were available to buy only with tickets) arrived today! The one I got L girlie size is a bit too big, but I like it!
I was waiting so long! Finally they arrived!
It was the best concert in my life… very well prepared… amazing show, very symbolic to take place in Bucharest, across the Palace of Parliament build by Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
Here are a few photographs I took with my phone…
and last one which is not the best quality, but it’s quite symbolic one… Roger Waters’ shadow on Palace of Parliament
